Research Use Policy
Version 2026-09-06
Veridae supplies reagents for qualified researchers carrying out in-vitro laboratory work. This means research outside a living person or animal, such as work with cells or samples in a laboratory.
Who can buy and use these materials
Buyers must be at least 21 years old and qualified to handle the materials they order, or authorized to purchase them for a research organization. You must have appropriate laboratory facilities and follow the laws and institutional requirements that apply to your work.
We may ask for information to confirm research eligibility and may decline an order if eligibility cannot be established or a prohibited use is reasonably suspected. Accepting this policy does not make an otherwise unlawful purchase or use lawful.
Uses we do not permit
Do not administer these reagents to people or animals. They must not be swallowed, injected, inhaled or applied to the body. Do not use them to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a condition, or include them in food, supplements, cosmetics, medicines, medical devices or household products.
Do not resell or transfer a product for a prohibited use. We do not provide dosing, treatment or administration advice, and do not supply needles, syringes or other administration supplies.
What a test report tells you
A certificate of analysis, or COA, is a laboratory report for the sample identified in it. Read the product name, vial amount, batch number and tests performed. A batch number is a tracking code for a particular group of products.
We use third-party laboratories. Results apply to the sample and measurements described in the report. Purity and content are separate measurements. A purity result alone does not establish sterility, endotoxin levels or suitability for your work. We do not promise a fixed purity percentage or tests that the report does not contain.
A report for one vial size does not establish the amount or results for another size. If a report is unavailable, the product page will say so. A report, or the absence of one, never permits human or animal use.
Handling, records and product concerns
Assess suitability for your experiment, review the available safety information and use trained personnel, appropriate protective equipment and suitable storage. Keep the product and batch information with your research records. Follow applicable requirements for disposal.
If an item appears damaged, mislabeled or otherwise unsuitable, stop using it and contact hello@veridae.co. Do not return or dispose of an item involved in a reported problem until you have safe instructions, unless immediate action is required for safety or by law.
Articles and other website information
Our articles and product information are for understanding research materials and their documentation. They are not medical or veterinary advice and do not establish that a product is safe or effective for use in people or animals.
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. The responsibility placed on buyers does not remove Veridae’s own legal duties.
All products are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. Not for human or veterinary use, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use, and not for use in food.
